“During the pandemic, transition to endemic and followed by the opening of international borders, Soppoa has constantly communicated with YB Datuk Gerawat to update him on current issues
related to foreign workers.
“Most importantly, YB Datuk Gerawat is very passionate and proactive in solving labour issues faced by the oil palm industry.
“We must endorse that the Premier has chosen the right candidate for the job,” Kiu said in a statement today.
He also revealed that Soppoa looks forward to the implementation of an integrated digital platform as disclosed by Gerawat for the application, monitoring and approval of foreign workers to work in
