Dear SOPPOA Members,
We are please to inform that the Secretariat has made an effort to create a “Handbook for Guideline for New Intake of Foreign Workers for Oil Palm Plantation (Mill) During COVID-19 Pandemic”, which is based on some of the standard operating procedures recommended by Jabatan Kesihatan Negeri Sarawak. It has also been sent to SOPPOA members’ emails.
This handbook provides information about how to manage new foreign workers at point of entry, transporting them to the designated quarantine station, and subsequently steps to be taken during the quarantine period.
Most importantly, this Handbook also details the stepwise advice for Members who wish to establish quarantine station in their own premises.
In this respect, the Secretariat is ready to provide assistance to any Member who needs further clarification.
